Recommended Posts

Hi,

i got some errors which i can´t handle. Maybe someone has a solution. When clicking on the module tab i got among others this errors / warnings.

Warning: file_exists(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/var/www/vhosts/myDom.com/httpdocs/modules/index.php/index.php.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/www/vhosts/myDom.com/httpdocs/:/tmp/) in /var/www/vhosts/myDom.com/httpdocs/classes/Tools.php on line 1190

Warning: file_put_contents(/var/www/vhosts/myDom.com/httpdocs/modules/dateofdelivery/config.xml): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /var/www/vhosts/myDom.com/httpdocs/classes/Module.php on line 1066

Anybody an idea what the problem could be?

(PS 1.4.2.5)

Hi,

I have the identical issue only the error list is a full page and I have to scroll down to see the modules. I also have absolutely no idea how to resolve it.

Strangely the site seem unaffected by it and functions correctly!

Hopefully a prestavet will be along soon to advise.

The browser is not the problem. It´s a php warning-message. The question is what is the "trigger" for this warnings and what´s the solution to fix them properly. (not just switching the warnings off)

Hey Dave,

I'm having the same problem, but thinking, I realize that could be where I installed my shop, I mean, not in the main folder "root", I uploaded in a subdirectory. But, I'd like to check with u before exclude everything and begin from 0 again, where did you install yours ?

Tks.

Hi,

I have prestashop running in 'root' and an identical prestashop running in /test as a test site for the customer to practce on.

I get the errors on both. Although strangely, now I have just checked it again, there's only a couple of errors there now where previously there was a page full.

I really don't know the solution and hoping someone will come along to advise.

Where you ever able to solve this? Have a very similar error message when I try to upload images - seems to relate to the img/tmp folder and it's file path settings. But tearing my hair out trying to find a solution.

Thanks!

Hi,

Unfortunately no-one has come back with a solution which either means nobody knows the answer or this thread has been overlooked.

The site still appears to be unaffected by the error but I would still like to know a fix for it.

Hopefully, now it's been bumped it may get some fresh views.

Cheers.
