Prestashop crash a 8 cpu a 3ghz

Recommended Posts

We think the problem is a module called "PY_URLRewrite+".

When the site encounters a not existing page, it does something for 20 seconds, while increasing CPU load to 100%.

We tried to contact the author but with no success.

How can we solve this problem ?

Thanks

Solved, the programmer just answered and deleting a piece of code it work great!

We have tried to disable the categories module but it does nothing to the speed.

There is an increasing of speed by disabling the cache on the performance tab, what can we do for increasing speed ??
