php errors after the update, blank page

can you please help solve these errors?
the frontend:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getCategoryLink() on a non-object in /public_html/prestashop/modules/blockcategories/blockcategories.php on line 135

the backend:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getPageLink() on a non-object in /public_html/prestashop/classes/Tools.php on line 88

I updated the shop from 1.3.3.0 to 1.4.3.0 and after that I had blank page in frontend and the backend was ok. but after 1 day the error showed in the backend and now it is all blank
can anyone help?
