Installing Prestashop and when i type www.mystore.com/install can't install.

Have been stuck with Prestashop for a week now and can't get it to install. Is there a technical person who can do this for me? I have limited experience with this and after following through the instructions step by step and even after contacting the local agent for the hosting company here in Kenya where i registered my domain, i still can't install get to install the thing for two weeks and no one knows what the problem is. We have looked at the permissions over and over again and believe we have the right permission now set but nothing. Tell me about possible troubleshooting problems and maybe that can help. For a moment i thought maybe i deleted the cpanel files when i deleted the Prestashop files i had installed through Filezilla and thought that was stopping the process after re-uploading the files. Could that be a possible problem area? I can't also seem to see the GD Functionality folder explained in the instructions. PLEASE HELP.
