ccanadas
Hi all!We are looking for a solution of multistore, but not the classic multistore with various vendors. We like one web, one vendor (us), and five or six different stores, with tabs.An example is:http://www.snowinn.com/The resume is:-Same BackEnd.-Same general FrontEnd.-Same DDBB.-The user only needs to register 1 time.-Each store, one time that you enter with the tab, only looks the specific categories and their products. (This is the most important point because if not, the store will be simple, in categories, not multi)-Each store will have a unique text introduction, offers, etc.-Each store, will have an finder individualWe actually works with VirtueMart 1.0, and for this, the migration will be as soon as possible, but we dont like to move all that we have with rush and we like to have the good decision in order to have a continuity with the proyect without have to change the system in few years. We have more than 10000 articles, and lot of data that do this very difficult. With all of this, plus an attractive desing, with user facilities for the customers, we are checking all the possibilities. And in this checkings, we just check 90% of free posibilities....Magento, Prestashop, VirtueMart 1.5, some payment alternatives...Magento, in theory, is the solution most similar to this that we are looking for, but in reality, the backend is very difficult to know, and the multistore that they have is not exactly this that we are looking for and probably we will have a lot of problems with this solution.VirtueMart...is a solution that we knows, we have the experience with this solution, but the design is the problem in this solution and is not have a real multistore. We can do it with categories and individual links, but is complicated.Prestashop....probably the most easy and looking the best for start...but i think that this system havent possibilities with multistore and in this case, is the third of the other ones.Do you know if exist something similar to this for prestashop?Do you know the solution of all of this?Recomendations?Best regards! shokinro
Hi ccanadas,I have multiple vendor/seller module that enable you register multiple sellers.it is not multiple store solution, the idea is based on multiple seller shares one store. One primary Seller who is owner of the PrestaShop store and control the access of the PrestaShop Store.Secondary owners share the same store with limited access, they can list/sell/manage their products/orders Primary owner has full access to all the resources of the store(admin) Secondary owners share the store with limited access to stores. Secondary owners access permission is configurable by the primary administrator via Employee – Permissions tab Primary owners can register secondary owner Customer can also become a seller if they sign up for a seller account. It is configurable by primary seller to allow customer seller or not. It is configurable to create customer seller automatically at sign up or not. New order email notices are sent to secondary seller. Admin is easily to see which product is registered by which seller with new “Owner” column at catalog page. You can find more information here http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/104232/

Because of the complex of the module and to cover maintenance cost, compare with other module in market, I think $114 is reasonable.
