berta recchia
I'm trying to make a change to a module. I, reset it, un-installed it, deleted it. When installing the modified version I noticed that the settings are still there.I ftp the site and see that the folder for that module (under >modules) is still there. I guess this is a good thing in some way but not for our troubleshooting purposes.I tried to rename that folder before reinstalling the module but presta still reads the configs from the renamed module folder. Is it safe to delete the folder? Is there a "pretty" way to uninstall/delete a module and whipe out everything before installing the modified version?I need it to troubleshoot why some changes are not visible.Thank you as usual!Presta 1.14.0.17 ( not so easy to upgrade with a very custom theme). shokinro
a few things to do when trouble shooting1. set display_errors to 'on' in /config/config.inc.php2. disable smarty cache at back office Preference - Performance tabs3. disable cache at the same page (bottom)if the does not delete correctly, then try to remove the folder physically manually via FTP
