Paypal Check out and paypal sandbox

Dear All,

I am having problems with paypal sandbox and payment checkout from my website. I ve been searching throughout the forum but no answers can be found.

Firstly, the default currency in my website is in Ringgit Malaysia. I have created Sandbox Paypal for buyer and seller unfortunately Malaysia is not under the location tab and so I chose UK. Both seller and buyer account is verified

Secondly, when i tried to checkout from my website, this error appear:

3. L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10605
4. L_ERRORCODE1 -> 10001
5. L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Transaction refused because of an invalid argument. See additional error messages for details.
6. L_SHORTMESSAGE1 -> Transaction failed due to internal error
7. L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> Currency is not supported
8. L_LONGMESSAGE1 -> Internal Error
9. L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error
10. L_SEVERITYCODE1 -> Error
11. PayPal returned error


Can someone help me, Ive signed up under prestabox and i thought it is suppose to be easy.

i tried to order something from my shop and after i clicked @ paypal to pay i got the same message

would be great if you could help me if you already solved this problem

I must be an expert on this error by now. It is because you are trying to checkout with a currency that paypal does not support. You must use US dollars or one off the 23 other supported currencies.

I am starting to consider other options to paypal as my payment processor as even testing in the sandbox environment is not that good. The transactions works in Canada but not in the country where I want to sell my products. LOL. But I'm also thinking it may be a prestashop code issue which I need to investigate with the PS tech people more. Hopeful I'll have better news.
