Email issues for customer and orders received

Hi all,

Hope someone can help as I have an issue with the email notifications. this is not a recent thing and is very frustrating. I did used to work before updates.

I dont receive and order notification and the customer dosent receive an order conformation. This not good be business.

My domain is with IONOS and email and I forward emails through GMAIL.

Module - Mail alerts

Prestashop version - 1.7.8.1.0

I have tried many configurations.

Please help as I have had enough.

Check your SMTP mail configuration and made a test.

SMTP wont work at all it throws an error up.

As he said check your smpt configuration, than look into the ports your mailer uses. Some ports are blocked by Ionos.
Gmail doesn't like new domains. Try without mail forwarding first.

Ive even tried it with my personal email and still doesn't work?

Ask IONOSsupport  if there is a mail restriction on your host.
