Google Merchant Center Account config ISSUE ℹ️

So I am using PS 8.1.2, and I have installed and configured the Google Marketing module from Prestashop.

 

I keep running into the "Account validation failed" We can’t verify or claim the current site. We recommend that you ensure that the site is accessible and try again later.

• My site is claimed and verified with Google Merchant Center and other Google services.

• YES, the Google Merchant IDs are the same nothing ig getting mixed up.

I can not get past this error, any help would be greatly appreciated. I've searched for others with this issue and seems I am the only one???

Hello Adam,

I hope your website is verified with the Google Search Console with the same Gmail account as Merchant Center. As you said your website is verified, check the search console, if a problem exists after the website has already been verified then you can contact the Google support forum to knowledge about why the verified website showing an error.

We have the exact same problem. "Account validation failed" despite the verified and claimed site.

Hi there, same problem here, I tried uninstalling and downgrading module in case, but not success... Anyone found a solution?
