Order wait for admin confirmation before payment

I want to be able to confirm an order and possibly change the shipping/final cost before the customer can make payment. What is the best way to accomplish this? Is this possible?

 

I think I have to add an extra step so that when the customer places an order, the admin confirms this order and update extra costs and then the user can go to final payments.

 

I want it for all payments methods on my site.

Hi,  you can look on ps addons to paid solution that allows visitor to request a quote.  I've done several shops in the past.  As always PrestaShop offers to many modules that do basically the same thing, so look through each to find one that meets your requirements.

the other option (not a great option)?  update pay by check or bankwire module front end content to 'submit  for  quote' and related emails.  an order will be created, not clear to me how to manage that in admin order processing.

 

paid options will allow  you  to more easily update the order, communicate with your client, send invoice with payment link....
