Hi!

My website is loosing speed, I am using Wordpress right now but some people told me that prestashop is much faster.

Ive been researching about it but i have several problems because i dont have the knowledges to do a migration from Wordpress.

There is any other way to get speed? Or should I develop a new website with prestashop straight away?

Thanks!

I leave my URL here, any help is welcome

and there are ecommerce systems much faster than PrestaShop.  I did quick review, I did not see where your site has ecommerce feature, maybe I missed it.

I ran some tools, just on index but it was not awaful: https://app.screencast.com/127rE8AqansnS

For the time and cost you it's probably wise to hire someone skilled in performance to tune your wp and/or hosting.  I recommend prestachamps.com, I do that work but not taking that sort of thing right now.

for insights, I highly recommend this tool:

Hello,

I have checked your website using the GTMetrix tool, and here are the results: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/mudanzascanadas.es/Tk4DQlNe/

Based on these results, your page load speed is currently affected by Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS). You can improve your CLS score with some of the following methods:

1. Specify image and video dimensions: Always make sure to provide both the width and height for your website's images and videos. This ensures that the correct space is reserved for them. Alternatively, you can use CSS aspect ratio boxes to achieve the same result.

2. Reduce layout shifts caused by ads, embeds, and iframes: To minimize layout shifts caused by ads, embeds, and iframes, consider the following steps:

  • Reserve space for ads (preferably the largest ad size) before loading the ad library.
  • Move ads to the bottom of the page or outside the visible area.
  • Use placeholders when no ads are available to display.

3. Avoid adding new content above existing content: Try not to insert dynamic content like banners or forms above existing content unless it's in response to user interaction. This helps prevent unexpected layout shifts.

4. Prevent the flash of invisible text (FOIT): FOIT can impact your page's CLS. Ensure that text remains visible during web font loading by preloading web fonts and/or using the font-display attribute.

5. Minimize non-composited animations: Whenever possible, use composited animations to reduce the workload on the main thread and avoid repainting pixels during page loading.

I hope this will be helpful for you.

Best regards.
