How do I remove "wishlist" from my theme?

Hello

I'm experiencing an issue on my shop. I am trying to completely remove the wishlist functionality from my shop, but I am not exactly sure how to go about it.

I have attempted to uninstall the integrated wishlist module from my theme, but this only removed the page where the wishlist products are displayed. However, I am still able to add products to my wishlist from my product page, and once I'm logged into an account, the store still displays a redirection to the wishlist page (which no longer exists) in the menu.

I suspect I may need to make some changes in the .tpl files, but I am unsure about what modifications need to be made. Has anyone encountered this problem before or knows how to solve it?
