Order being created despite unsuccessful payment

I'm using 1.7.8.3 and MyFatoorah Payment Gateway. 

An order is created and set to processing in progress, despite an unsuccessful payment. Any way to rectify this? 

 

My customers receive a processing in progress email and then just leave, which then leaves me without payment.

do you mean to:

a. avoid order creation altogether, or

b. create order with different status than processing in progress

which one do you expect to happen?

 

For b, if the module has configuration for order status, use it. Otherwise, need to code or enhance the module

For a, I am not sure if this is possible. But you can always consult the module developer or customise existing module

Look for any settings in MyFatoorah Payment Gateway, related to handling payment errors or unsuccessful transactions.

Ensure that the module is properly configured to handle failed payments and update the order status accordingly.
