unable to contact your shop to complete the association

I am trying to associate my shop to my account but there seems to be an issue with connecting to my store. This is the message I get: "We are unable to contact your shop to complete the association, please try again later."

I see that my site has already been associated as I also get the message "Your shop is already linked and verified." 

This gives me problem in configuring the Facebook and the Metrics modules.

Any information on how to solve?

Sometimes it helps to use a different browser. Clean one. ( private window ).

Thanks, but I have tried to do this on different browsers and different computers but always the same result.

Try rename admin folder and then go to localhost/prestashop_01/new_folder_admin_name

Hi,

1. rename or delete install folder

2. enable Debug mode in ./config/defines.inc.php

3. insert the entire error text here

You have a local installation and trying to use  https - do you have certficates installed/configured? Try to access with http
