Looking for Multi-booking addon

Recommended Posts

Hi

Is there any booking addon supporting many hotels in one website? Each hotel owner should be able to view and moderate his reservations? Something like booking.com

All booking addons I found here are limited to one owner account only

Any advise?

What I understand from addon page, only website admin can manage the reservations

If I have 10 hotels with different 10 owners, can each owner manage the reservations for his hotel only?

Best way is to ask developers on page above. Tell them what options you need.

We will suggest you to check the combo of the Marketplace module and booking and rental system module.

The combination of these  2 modules will allow the hotel owners to manage the listing and orders. Please find the link below:

Marketplace module: https://addons.prestashop.com/en/marketplace-creation/21669-knowband-multi-vendor-marketplace.html

Booking and Rental System: https://addons.prestashop.com/en/reservation-rental-system/44980-knowband-booking-and-rental-system.html

Note: Marketplace module is compatible with the Booking & Rental System module.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but are your modules in combination able to produce a multivendor gig marketplace?

We want to create gig type marketplaces. They will work like booking agencies, with prices set by the admins. Vendors would be various categories of service vendor (e.g. entertainers, hospitality workers, nurses, or professional services like building inspections, etc). We would create these services as listings and the client would enter date, time, duration, location for the booking and then the service(s) they want to book.

Initially, the rates would all be set by admin (this is to avoid a bidding war and devaluing of the platform initially) but over time we would relax that so newcomers can compete on price. Vendors enter their location, radius in which they prefer to work, and the services they offer from the pre-populated list created by admin.

The client's vendor search function then lists matching vendors, sorted by rating and optionally showing favourites first. The client can instantly book vendors. There's no back-and-forth with the vendor accepting job offers; they are instantly booked. In future we may create a job board with vendors applying for gigs, but the specific focus first is instant bookings, because it's for particular kinds of vendors whose industry is accustomed to this.

The marketplace takes payment by credit card (or preferably by bank transfer) and pays the vendors daily (minus commission or outstanding fees).

We need to be able to create various rules for gigs: minimum booking duration (which varies depending on the service type), vendor travel, etc. Some services have optional extras (usually this is extra equipment the vendor can bring to the gig) which add to the hourly rate, and these should be implemented as checkbox items (we don't want this done as a drop-down list of combinations of variations, because the number of variations is 2^n and the list gets very long very quickly).

That's pretty much it. We just create services and options, pricing, rules, and then vendors indicate which services they offer, and clients book them. The vendor profiles aren't very important (might sound strange but given the kinds of gigs we are talking about, it's not - this is for a certain B2B use case and the end clients know what they are ordering, it's entirely interchangeable who does the service).

Later we will want to add other things but for the first year or two, we will focus heavily on a certain category and go from there. If we need to fund development of specific functionality afterwards, we'll do that. But for the MVP, we want to know these things are available out of the box:

1. Create basic listing descriptions of various services, which vendors can offer
2. To each service, add optional extras whose pricing adds to the hourly rate; implemented as checkbox options
3. Each service is charged hourly, with minimum booking durations, travel minimums, and some with additional up front fees depending on the service
4. Option for daily rate for longer bookings
5. Take a charge of 10% of the booking total on confirming the booking, as a non-refundable down payment.
5a. Cancellation/reschedule rules: allow us to configure cancellation cut-off times and apply policies, allow rescheduling (applying booking payment to the rescheduled booking), mutual cancellation (no penalties/payments apply)
6. Take the balance on booking conclusion (ideally: take a card imprint 1 hour prior to commencement, finalise the payment when the customer indicates the job is complete or 2 hours elapse after scheduled job completion or vendor marks job complete, whichever the earlier)
7. (Ideally) have a direct debit or other bank deposit payment method, to save on payment processing fees (or add CC fees to booking fees)
8. Interface defaults to client focus, making it fast to enter booking details and search for matching vendors
9. Client able to instantly book the vendor directly from search results (i.e. each search result is in row format, with a "book" button for each)
10. System must pop up booking conditions and require client to agree to them, and to review the booking details in order to finalise the booking
11. On clicking "finalise", the booking is finalised - no need to have the vendor confirm. App must be able to consult vendor external calendar if necessary to detect clashes when selecting available vendors. Vendors agree that bookings are final.
12. Vendors are charged a 10% fee for bookings. This is deducted from the booking settlement - if the vendor fails to attend a booking, that fee stands.
13. Vendor settlements are daily (pending customer payment clearance), less any outstanding fees; any fees owing to the Service are paid first and any balance paid to the vendor.

Hi,

We believe that all the mentioned functionalities might not be covered under the default functionalities of the module. However, we can implement the same as custom modifications specifically for your store.

Please contact our support team via the addon helpdesk system so that we can check and assist you accordingly.
