sickshot Posted April 30, 2021 Share Posted April 30, 2021 As i found out we cant use some symbols in the product name. I was in need of using # in product name but got the error message. Anyone can point me where can i make a change to allow # symbol in product name? Also if i allow that will ot conflict with friendly url? musicmaster Posted May 1, 2021 Share Posted May 1, 2021 The checks of fields are done in /classes/validate.php. I assume from the Product class, but I don't remember the exact sequence. I assume that having a # in the product name won't give problems. But it will have to be filtered for the friendly url as you cannot have it in an url.
