Check your php version, for PrestaShop 1.7.7 is php 7.3 max, and you probably have php8.

Thanks for your reply :D

However, I know this and mine is php 7.2..

I have checked my php error log and found this:

[11-Apr-2021 16:25:51 Europe/Berlin] PHP Warning: file_put_contents(/opt/lampp/htdocs/test1769/var/cache/prod/cacert.pem): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /opt/lampp/htdocs/test1769/classes/Tools.php on line 2118

Permission is set to folder 755 and file 644 before installation

Any more ideas?

Hello,

I think you are facing because of the php version. I will recommend you to upgrade it and then try again. I think your problem will be solved. Thanks.
Regards

Thanks for your suggestions. But as I said that I am installing PrestaShop 1.7.6.9 with php7.2, which is already the recommended php version stated in the PrestaShop Document..

So I think this should not be the problem
