Please help, I keep receiving the 404 error NOT FOUND when I attempt to launch the Prestashop auto-installer on HostGator

Hello,

I am in the process of trying to integrate prestashop onto my website but I have hit a road block when trying to run the auto installer.

I followed the installation instructions for installing filezilla etc and loaded the files onto there exactly as per the instructions. I also created a MySql database from the HostGator dashboard. I also created an FTP account from their dashboard. When I log into the File Manager on HostGator I can see all the files there but when I try to run the install i.e. "http://your_server/prestashop_folder/install" It brings up a 404 error and wont start the install.

I am doing everything the tutorial video says for the install but I cant get past that step. Hope someone can help!

try with "http://your_server/install" youre prestashop folder must be in "your-server" not in a sub folder
