Split Orders In Two Randomly

I'm using PS 1.7.6.1.

Much of the data in this store has been imported from a store with version 1.5.6.2.

We are seeing that some orders are randomly divided into two, from a single cart and a single payment creates two orders with the same reference but with a different ID.

The only change in every order is the address, previously the phone was not mandatory and now it is.

I attach a screenshot in case I have not explained myself correctly.

Right now i'm not imprting any data, i dont know why randomly from one cart makes two orders.

I suspect there is something wrong with the way you set up the carriers. 

 - Are you sure you didn't assign carriers to the individual products?

- you say this is random. But is it really so? If you make two orders with the same products, are they split the same way?

 - if it is not random my suspicion would be that the products are in a different weight or price class and the split happens along those lines.

 - can you show a screendump of your carrier setup?
