2 domains, 2 themes, 1 db, how many payments gateway?

Hello!
I’d like a piece of advice and any working info if available.
I have to 1.7 sites (different version), different domain names, same language, different themes and I’d like to migrate the.
The idea is that (as with similar products) my clients could combine carts, so they I’ll have only one time shipping costs and more free gifts based on cart total amount.
The idea is (the sites and their names are just an example) :
Landing page with a domain  (simple html)
From there 2 sites with 2 links:
1)    clothing.com
2)    shoes.com
(if necessary and a 3rd p.e.: belts.com)
Common database for all, common addons for all.
- Is that possible?
- Can they have different theme?
- Should they have different ssl?
- Should or not have different payment gateway? (For now they have all the same shipping and payment options)
- If the answers for the above questions are more or less yes, when the clients will go to check out, which site’s payment gateway will be applicable?

- Should I make a new site from the scratch, or should I just (?) add the products from one site to the other site?

I’ve checked documentation and the forum and I have the idea that the default multisite won’t do the job. So, if there is a solution, please let me know.
(To be honest, I spoted an addon, but I couldn’t figure out if and how it works, so I keep searching.)

At least anybody knows:

Can different domain point to each category?
- Cart would show the main site? (The POS module would be installed on main site?)
- Can each category (domain) has it's own theme?

using Prestashop its not possible to use commen database for different domains becasue in DB there is only one unique url of one shop, and database works only for spesific domain.

check database table "ps_shop_url"

but this is possible if you activate the multishop feature of Presasthop

No it is not possible as every shop will have each one cart.
I want the domain to POINT to categories (I don't care about the prefix of the table). I just wonder if there would be a problem for the db. Mainly for the POS module (bank's credit cart module).

And the other thing, if two categories can have different themes.
Any possible help is welcome.
