Hide country selection when shopping - PrestaShop 1.7

How can you hide country selection when shopping. I want to set up purchases for one country only. How to do it?

The easiest way would be to simply hide the field using CSS, find the enclosing element and set it to display: none;

That's right, but in my case I have to choose a country first. See the attachment I send. In CSS I can hide the check box, but how do I set the default country, not "--"?

Many themes pre-select the default PrestaShop country, you may have to adjust it to do the same.
