Paypal Standard no longer working

I'm using the Paypal Standard module. I tried contacting the author but no response.

On Jan 12th I began receiving emails for every order paid by Paypal, as below.

After some time I noticed that the Paypal orders were created in PS even when the paypal payment was not completed, I'm guessing because the IPN functionality was broken. 

I had been using this module for a couple years before this problem suddenly happened.

In the paypal developer dashboard I verified that I have the right client Id and secret and live return URL.

I'm having the same problem, PayPal functionality suddenly stopped using and I can't figure out how to fix it.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the module.  I confirmed the API credentials and even eventually got new API credentials, nothing has worked.
