Multistore settings - url domains

Hi,

 

I need some help with the Multistore settings.

I have a .be, .de , .fi , dk and .fr  url.

On .be it should be Dutch language, on .de, fi and dk it should be English language and .fr should be french language.

Main url is ****.de

How can i link the other url's to the correct url?

do you own the domain.(cctlds) that you want to use?

if so then you would add those domain names to multishop

on hosting you would need to alias the other domain names to your domain.de

if you do not own the domains then you cannot use a domain name, you could use a subdomain fr.yourdomainname but I don't think that buys you anything and most likely hurts.

there are other solutions (well only one) and that is to use language-isocountry code in URL.  so yourdomain/de-de/...  

also .de .fr .be and not language specific, they are country specific, language as always should be detected by visitor browser http language so best not to mix the two
