Prestashop developement workflow

Hello,

I am new to prestashop and I am creating my first shop. I have installed shop on server but then my client told that he would like some bigger changes so I need to create local environment.

For that I found nice tutorials so I should be a problem. mMy question about making releases of the website. If I would make a change to theme it's not a problem with git but how should be configuration released? When I make some changes to settings of the website settings, modules, translation?

Previously I was working with Drupal 8 where it is possible to exctract whole configuration and then just update configuration on the live website.

 

Where can I find more informations how to do it right in prestashop?

For now I am alone but I don't want to make changes through  FTP.

Which Prestashop version are you using ?

You can sync database with webservice API. Webservice docu for PS 1.7. you will find here: https://devdocs.prestashop.com/1.7/development/webservice/

If you are using PS 1.6. docu is on another place. Please name the version you are using.

Site is running at latest version of Prestashop.
