How do I hide the left bar categories box only in the brands page?

I am about done with my website.

I just need help on how I can hide the left bar categories box only in the brands page?

You can unhook modules for each page. Go to Design -> positions. On top right side -> transplant a module. On next page under "Exceptions" you can choose the module and the page you want to hook or unhook modules.

I am on that page but it forces me to  Transplant to

 

I am choosing Category tree links from the Module drropdown and under it requires me to Transplant to.

 

On the bottom of Transplant to it says Exceptions, here i put manufacturer but nothing happens and my category tree links showd up on every page of my admin since i had to choose one to submit..

Can you choose your page layout at Design->Theme and Logo->Choose Layouts - see if "Full width" layout for the brand page solves your issue

thank you the only problem is that i do want the left bar to show my  filter module.

Please let me know as this sounded real close but please see my message above.

This is all I need to complete my store design.

Go to Design->Position. Find the hook/module you want to modify e.g. Category Tree Link in displayLeftColumn. Choose "Edit"

On next page choose the pages where you want to hide it and add them to the exception list. Click save afterwards.

Thank you I think I needed the pic and I was able to do it
