combination [SOLVED] Too much combinations per product - attributes

Hi all,

I'm busy to make a shop with a lot of combinations per product.
We have over 1400 combinations, but when I upload these, that product will get problems in the backoffice and in the shop.
The productpage in the backoffice get stuck, you can't get there anymore, so impossible to change anything in this product...
and not always will all the combinations get shown in the shop for the customer.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem, without losing or decrease the combination possibilities?
Maybe there are some settings that I can change, but I don't know which or where.

We have narrow it down to 256 combinations now, but still the same problems.
I did try 192 combinations (to low, but just to check), that worked.

Hopefully does this help anyone to understand where it goes wrong or what to do/change.

Hi Robert,

a php-timeout or a memory overflow would be possible, first thing you should do is look at the error.log of your server,

I've checked the error.log: [12-Sep-2019 22:58:08 Europe/Amsterdam] PHP Fatal error:  Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes) in /home/***/public_html/classes/db/DbPDO.php on line 200

Changed:
max_execution_time to 300 from 30
max_input_time to 300 from 30

Now I can upload garanteed 320 combinations!
I'll try more, but this is great!
