  1. hello, I have reset the password using the "forgot password" and direcly on the database table, and I still have the same issue: “There is one error. the employee does not existor the password is wrong” I have also activated the error log and nothing is being shown.
  2. Hello, I have a problem with the access of my admin user to the backoffice of the prestashop store. The sequence I use is to enter user and password and it does not enter in the admin side. The weird thing is that when I enter the right user and password does not return me any message. I have entered a wrong password on purpose and it returns me an error message (that is what I expect). I have changed the password using the “forgot password” method and I have also do a process of updating it manually through this process: https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/4843-lost-password-the-solution-is-in-the-forum-but-in-french/ and it has not worked either. I have checked the whole environment and I was not able to find anything strange. I have looked for other similar situations and I was not able to find other reasons. What could be happening? What else should I check? Best regards Joaquín
  3. Google Sending Mobile usability warnings to huge number Of Webmasters. And my Prestashop stores are part of this massive communication. The message I receive is: "Fix mobile usability issues found..." follow by my domain. My honest oppinion is that this is the way Google is saying us: check out your mobile usability because we are going to change the search algorithm and this will be important. I checked the tools offered by Google for checking and fixing the issues and at the end of the day the main factor is the template you have. For sure every single web is different and a deep analysis is required, but the template is key here. My question is, Is there going to be a template updates to adjust them to these google recommendations? Any thought about this? many thanks!
  4. That would be great mariajhons!!!!
  5. Hello, I have detected the same problem commented by MBT, and it's a real problem I learned that needs to be solved. I am not 100% sure about how to enable that Prestashop shows the cached elements on google. best regards
  6. Hello, I use to review google web master tool periodically, it says you new things and alerts if you are doing something wrong. other thing I learned it was to remove bad links that I did not know they were there. You can follow this here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/2648487?hl=en
  7. The tutorial you have posted is from 1.5, but it helped me to check something I jumped before. I was selecting a wrong theme, and now it works. many thanks!
  8. I am trying to configure a multistore on Prestashop 1.6.0.8. I create the new environment, I configure the virtual address and I can hide modules for this specific store. I can also create categories and products. My issue: I cannot visualize the store, it only shows the top layer. There is not "body" :-( I go to module > positions, and all modules are there on each right position. I enter on the "Run Live Edit" of the theme and it only shows the logo and an 404 error. any idea about what I should review?
  9. Hello, we updated from 1.6.0.6 to 1.6.0.8 and after that the "next" buttom does not work. I navigate to the front office to the category "clothes". There there are 38 products, where there is the possibility to see 20. On this situation if I click on "Next" or "2", the product list disappear and this message is shown: "There are no products." I have looked into the forum and I have not seen any similar and recent issue. many thanks in advance, joapen
  10. I do not you, but I have still not found a clear standard way to meaure the E2E time response of a web hosting provider for a prestashop store. I know my shared hosting has a slow First Time response, but where to go? I have seen on Wordpress someone created a plugin to measure the CPU speed, the network transfer and database queries per second. The way to compare with others is not accurate, but it's better than nothing: CPU Speed: 24.686 BogoWips (Bogus WordPress Instructions per Second) Network Transfer Speed 4,24 Mbps Database Queries per Second: 1.049 When you are using a shared server, the CPU, the number of neighbors and many other aspects are key to understand the time response, but I want to be able to compare apples with apples, and avoid every single provider to tell me why their hosting is faster than others. Other aspect relevant for me, is that I want speed on Prestashop configuration, I don't care about Wordpress or joomla or other environments. So, I'm looking for the Kms/h refference, something like "Bogus PrestaShop Instructions per Second" (BogoPips) that enable the community to compare apples with apples. Is there already something in place?
  11. After some months, the root cause of this issue seems to be still there. We have changed a couple of category titles from the store and the issue came back: the category missed the link to the parent category and now is under the root category.
  12. Hi Dh42, could you please do an audit on www.wabisabi.com.es ? a couple of competitors: www.ecoology.es www.beklina.com many thanks in advance,
  13. Hello, I have some products that are not working properly. What is happening is that when you move the mouse over the "add to cart" the buttom is not activated. Some things I have discovered: For one category, some products are working fine, and others no. I have checked the quantities are Ok. I have removed the combinations and regenerated them again. I have looked into the forum for similar issues and I have not found anything. If you could give an idea about what could be the cause or what should I check I will appreciate it too much, many thanks in advance
  14. @stottycabanas, I did not try your theory in the way you mentioned, but I review the mySQL table to ensure that the field defines an entry as "root category". @k.kannegieter If you change the root settings manually in database, it will fix the problem temporally. The issue will come when you edit again the entry or some of the childs. Did you try to remove the "Block_categories" module, and then install again?
