  1. I started this shop the middle of 2009 when I was off work with a broken leg for five months....little old lady pulled in from of my motorcycle I spent a lot of time working on SEO. Has about 50 products on it. I added a Free Module (downloaded here): "Express Checkout" that does not work nor do I know how to remove it....If I could get this one working correctly that would be the minimum I could get away with as I have had close to 2000 empty carts and only 10 orders in the last year! Here is the site: www.kctrading.net Prestashop 1.2.3.0 Would like bids on: 1. Remove and repair Express Checkout or remove all together and install a good module I pay for. 2. Installing latest stable upgrade of Prestashops Payment would be via verified paypal account. Please PM me or I can send you my email address. Thanks, Ken www.kctrading.net
  2. Well I figured it out...when I upgraded to Firefox 3.6 two modules were not compatible and had to actually remove them completely...back office now works with Firefox...guess I have to wait for these modules to be updated before trying to reinstall them again.
  3. This is weird...for the last couple of days I could not log on back office with Firefox...tried changing the password, etc to no avail...then I tried using my old copy of Explorer with the new password and it worked just fine...cleared the cookies on Firefox and it still does not work...any suggestion on getting Firefox to log on to back office, it use to give an employee error but after clearing the cookies it just go back to the log on screen without any error messages.
  4. Had the same issue as above... Would not allow me to log on with Firefox but did work with Explorer...cookie issue!
  5. How do you install this script? Newbie terms please
  6. Can you give a detailed discription on how to install this to a newbie please? I can log on to the first step but I did activate the second security feature which asked for an email and another password...that last security step is not working and giving error....Once I get back in I may just take that step out as when my host moved my site to a faster server this is when I started having problems logging into Prestashop back office.
  7. Stop messing with files and do it all with a module! http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/7675/modules___development/modulev0_dot_4_sotews_adds
  8. How would I make/add another icon that says "Pay by Credit Card - VISA MASTERCARD AMERICANEXPRESS, etc" it would go to the same place as the Paypal icon but it would just be worded diffrently as anyone without a paypal account (no paypal cashe in there computer) it would go to Paypal's dual offer payment page which would allow the customer to pay without a paypal membership. I think this would close more carts without any added expense?
  9. Looks like I may just go with a offline CC Module and my local costco has a pretty good deal on a Internet Merchant account with waving setup fees and a free $100 Costco Cash card if you signup in January! http://www.elavon.com/acquiring/costco/ Program Features * Accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, debit cards and corporate purchasing cards. * $4.95 monthly statement fee - waived for Executive Members * One time $25 application fee - waived for Executive Members * Live customer service 24-hours a day / 7-days a week * Free basic online merchant account access * No batch fees I just got my SSL working on my cart and need to see if adding a CC option will close more carts...it should! Thanks,
  10. You will also want to remove them from Google's cashe.....I mentioned this on another post but thought I would post it here as well... The best way I found to handle this is to place the url’s you want to stop Google from indexing/cashe is to place then in your Robot.txt file in the root directory. Then you will want to log on to Google Webtools then click on Site configuration then click on Crawler Access then click on Remove URL and follow the prompts….there is a box there that ask if you removed the link with Robot.txt…which in my case I did. On the next crawl Google will remove these old/unneeded urls and you should see the results in your Webtools Dashboard.
  11. Check the link below and get tomerg3 redirect module or the hard way by place the url's you want to stop Google from indexing/cashe in your Robot.txt file in the root directory. Then you will want to log on to Google Webtools then click on Site configuration then click on Crawler Access then click on Remove URL and follow the prompts....there is a box there that ask if you removed the link with Robot.txt...which in my case I did. On the next crawl Google will remove these old/unneeded urls and you should see the results in your Webtools Dashboard. The module below will make for a lot less work and actually automate it.
  12. Has anyone figured this out yet? I have three showing up in Google Webmaster tools that needs fixed.... HTML suggestions Duplicate title tags Your title provides users and search engines with useful information about your site. Text contained in title tags can appear in search results pages, and relevant, descriptive text is more likely to be clicked on. We recommend reviewing the list and updating the title tags wherever possible.
  13. Très intéressé dans la Boutique de commande! Yat-il une version anglaise? Je vous ai envoyé un e-mail via votre magasin. (Traduction via Google Translate)
  14. Can I see Commander in english? Looks like something I may purchase for my shop!
