Can you not just apply a Manual refund / credit/discount for the difference - if u check each order ... Just spitballing haven't actually thought if the logistics as currently only on my phone so can look into it further

I was wondering if there are any improvements/changes for v1.6 with the CSV import for virtual products. I know you can/could specify whether or not a product was virtual but is it possible to add the virtual file link/path when using the CSV import. Any observations/comments appreciated? (I have a huge number of currently physical listed products which I know want to convert to virtual Thanks

I have a client who wishes to upgrade their e-comm site to a more ‘modern’ solution (currently zen cart). I have used Prestashop before but it was a number of versions ago so unsure of currently functions. The Client requires the ability to list downloadable products (I know this is possible), but ideally with a multiple file format choice (so product is listed once in catalog, but customer has choice of what format type to purchase; zip/pdf/txt for example). I know I could install on a local server and check, but was hoping to receive a quicker response from anyone here in the know? Ideally this would not be solved by an additional cost/add-on…. Thanks in advance for any responses/ideas etc.

Hi Hoping someone can point me in the right direction - i am currently creating a new theme but would like to edit the background colour of the individual block - example the background of the categories block. I know its possible to edit the colour of an entire column but i cant figure this one out. Any help would really be appreciated.... thanks

Fresh install of 1.5 and all backoffice seems to work well but when i view my front end its all messed up - i havent changed anything apart from remove the manufactors and tag modules. Any one else have a weird looking front end?

Oh right I see thanks for the response. Regarding the customer - when the final version is released is there do u foresee any difficulties in upgrading to the new version - I was considering doing the same, but worried if the upgrading part was a real pain

Are we ok to build new templates using this version to be used on the public version when it is released?

I do second this request mass import of downloadable products is a tough task at the moment. If there is room for any development on this I for one would be grateful

I need to start a new prestashop site for a client with about 1000+ products and as I have only built for smaller shops am unsure of any performance issues for that amount of products. Is anyone aware of any slowdown or any other issue for a shop that big? Also what are your recommendations - should I build on the 1.4.9 version or delay until the 1.5 comes out ( I able to delay if worthwhile) as just concerned that I will be amending the template/theme a fair bit and don't want any potential conflict with the new version

I have come across the following link http://www.prestasho...m/en/mobile-app which has details regarding a mobile application for prestashop and by the screenshots it looks great. However the 'get it now' button only takes you through to a contact page - of which i did feel out about a month ago but have received no response. So, I was wondering if anyone has managed to set this up for their store or if they know of any more details that they could share. I am guessing its a paid service? Mobile Apps are obviously a great marketing tool and I have been looking to create one (IOS) for a while now but if there is an official prestashop one to be used then I would be really interested to find out more...

Hello All, I am setting up a new prestashop that will contain mostly virtual products available for download. My issue is that a single product may be available in several different file formats for the customer to choose and purchase - zip, rar, txt, pdf etc and to my knowledge (hoping to be corrected!) prestashop does not support this functionality. I am not aware of a way that several downloadable files can be associated with a single product. A work around - albeit one i dont really want to use it to list a product several times under different parent categories and relate it to the associated file eg. ZIP Files -Product 1 zip -Product 2 zip PDF Files -Product 1 pdf -Product 2 pdf So, if any of you have delved into the downloadable/virtual products area of prestashop, please could you give me any insight or potential workarounds other than the above. As always, responses are appreciated.
