SEO & URL not updating page's meta information

I've tried updating the Meta Title and Description for the 404 page.  I checked the database and I see the appropriate information in there.  Also, how does the drop down list of pages get populated?

turn on prestashop error reporting and retry to see if any errors.

make sure to tell us what page, all pages..does the data display when you go back?

this can also be hosting related, who is your hosting company and what package.

so review this, see if similar issue (maybe also try translation to see if ok)

It's all the pages in the SEO&URLS section.  I deleted one and tried to re-add it but now it's missing from the list.

We have a shared hosting with Host Gator, baby croc.  All the folders are 755 and the files are 644
