  1. Prestashop 1.6.0.9, using the Newsletter block with both verification and confirmations enabled. If someone initiates the newsletter subscription process but never receives the verification email, it appears that there is no way for either (1) the customer to attempt registration again, or (2) have the verification email re-sent. Any attempt to resubscribe results in an error 'This email address is already registered.' even though they have not full subscribed yet. Yet I can find nowhere in the back office where a list of pending subscribers can be found, in order to purge/reset those email addresses. The block configuration only shows those people who have completed subscription. Anyone who is pending verification is stuck in limbo with no way to access their information or resend their verification email. It's like it's a partially complete module. How do you purge the list of people who have requested verification but not completed it, or resend someone's verification email? Thank you.
  2. From what I can tell, the thick_box product images have to be a specific size across the board. If the uploaded image is larger than that static resolution, the uploaded image gets scaled down to fit on the longest edge, and if the uploaded image is smaller, it gets padded by whitespace to meet the static resolution. This is a problem as my product images vary widely in resolution and aspect ratio. For example, one image might be 400x800 pxels and another might be 3000x3000 pixels. I need the ultra-high res for certain items because they are collectibles and buyers need to be able to see a high level of detail. I realize that the category thumbnails need to be of an equal size, but is there any way to disable image conversion for the actual product page images and have them used exactly at their uploaded size? If not, is there a zoom module that would allow this? Thank you. UPDATE: After considerable scouring of this forum via Google I found a way to do what I need. In product.tpl I removed 'thickbox_default' from the image calls in several locations, and the product page now uses the originally uploaded images rather than the resized images. Works like a charm!
  3. It doesn't. The BOXINGDAY coupon was (apparently) good for all payment modules, at least it was according to the wording, whereas this one is only good for payment modules developed by Prestashop itself. When I try to use it on the Stripe module I want to buy, I get an error that it is invalid.
  4. Yep, that's the very email I received yesterday.
  5. Then they need to put in the email the time zone they are using to reflect expiration. If they have U.S. offices (which they do, according to the voice message I received when I called the number) and the emails are entirely in English (at least the one I received is), then one would assume that the time/date constraints on the promotions they include in those communications would be based upon times/dates in effect here. Poor execution.
  6. At 4:15 am central time this morning I received an email from [email protected] with the subject line "Take advantage of special offers, and learn some business-boosting tips" and in it are several sections, including at the top a promo code BOXINGDAY for 20% off all payment modules usable until midnight tonight, but when I went to use it I get the error that the code has expired. What gives? Is Prestashop sending out expired coupons? I tried calling Presatshop's phone number, but the office is closed for the day.
