  1. Howdy great PS community. I'm not sure who can help me out but I'm having big issue with prices that prevent me to go online with my shop. So the matter is quite urgent. I'm on PS 1.6.1.2 and using the theme Warehouse. PS is configured on a Multistore environment sharing the product catalogue. One shop (the main one) is for consumers (with product prices including VAT) and it's called www.beautykosm.ch (live and taking orders since a while now), the other is for wholesalers with product prices displayed without VAT and can be reached at www.alemapro.ch (here access to prices and ordering system must be granted by me after user register himself). Because of the problem I'm reporting it is normally in maintenance mode but it is now live so that anyone that can help me can check it out. VAT is 8% for both shops and the groups/users on the wholesalers shop have a full catalogue discount of 46% off the consumer prices (basically it means that if for a consumer a product cost 100 included 8%VAT, the wholesaler pays 50 excluding 8% VAT). Alo on the wholesaler shop TAX on purchases is enabled and TAX is displayed in the shopping cart. When a product has no combinations everything works fine in both shops. The products are displayed with the correct prices and when added to cart the prices stays the same and VAT is properly applied. The big issue arise in the wholesaler shop when a product has combinations with price changes (decrease/increase) from the reference product. While the price without VAT is correctly displayed on the product page when the product is added to the cart the price in there wrongly change (and I've not been able to understand how the wrong price is calculated). Give you an example here: http://www.alemaproshop.ch/en/zoya-treatments/973-zoya-remove-nail-polish-remover.html (for the consumer shop: https://www.beautykosm.ch/en/zoya-treatments/973-zoya-remove-nail-polish-remover.html) This product comes in 4 sizes (3 only for consumers) where the 240ml size is the reference product and should have the following prices: Consumers (www.beautykosm.ch) prices with VAT 8% 240ml: 32,00 60ml: 14,00 15ml: 7,00 Wholesaler (www.alemaproshop.ch) prices without VAT 8%: 960ml: 39,00 (Impact on price tax excluded: +23,00) 240ml: 16,00 (Impact on price tax excluded: 0) 60ml: 7,00 (Impact on price tax excluded: -9,00) 15ml: 3,50 (Impact on price tax excluded: -8,30) All prices are displayed correctly on the product page but when a product is added to the cart on the wholesaler shop here are the wrong prices that shows up (always without VAT): 960ml: 28,40 (Wrong) 240ml: 16,00 (OK) 60ml: 11,10 (Wrong) 15ml: 9.20 (Wrong) On the consumer shop this problem doesn't exist at all. Any idea what could be? I tried cleaning cache, playing with prices, switching theme to the default one, even asking to the Warehouse theme developer and looking on various forums but found really nothing that could help me. If someone has the willingness to help me out I can pass all the necessary data to access the BO and file system. Thanks in advance for your help! Marco
  2. Well status is...that is now finally working! But, as often happens, it did not went like the manual was saying, or to better say, the manual did not mention all the possible corner cases. In my situation where my host provider does not provide either cpanel or plesk admin consoles, I had to play with the setting available and at the end what it worked is the following: Beautykosm.ch: Target path=/beautykosm.ch DNS - Hostname beautykosm.ch. Type=A Target= 37.200.97.48 (is the IP address of the SSL certificate provider) www.beautykosm.ch. Type=A Target=37.200.97.48 (is the IP address of the SSL certificate provider) *.beautykosm.ch. Type=A Target=auto alemaproshop.ch: Target path=/beautykosm.ch DNS - Hostname *.alemaproshop.ch. Type=A Target=auto www.alemaproshop.ch. Type=A Target=auto alemaproshop.ch. Type=A Target=auto Then, the exact sequence of my actions within the PS Admin have been (maybe some of these were not necessary but in my case nothing hurted): 1) Deleted the alemaproshop store I previously created within the same group of the beautykosm.ch store. 2) DIsabled the Multistore option 3) Deleted the .htaccess file 4) Cleaned the cache 5) Switch off and then on the Friendly Url (to recreate a new .htaccess file) 6) Re enabled the multistore 7) Create again the alemaproshop.ch store within the same group of beautykosm.ch store importing all the data as well and using the same theme (Warehouse) 8) Typed-in the following URL parameters for alemaproshop.ch: Domain: www.alemaproshop.ch SSL domain: www.alemaproshop.ch Physical URL: / NO Virtual URL 9) When all this was done it worked although I had still to do one thing. Because my master store (beautykosm.ch) had SLL certificate I had to go to Preferences/General and disable the SSL options only for the alemaproshop.ch store. Still, within the second store, there have been problems with the theme configuration (different buttons colors, fonts, layout, etc) but most of them went away going into the various theme modules and simply clicking the Save button (without doing anything else) obviously making sure to perform this actions on the second store. For whatever reason this was like a Reset without loosing all the customizations done. Still some work to do but at least it seem now working (at least at first glance). Thanks for your interest EL Patron (and soon will buy your module Private Shop Authorized Clients Only). Bye
  3. Thanks El Patron for your feedback. I was planning to buy one of your module (Private Shop Authorized Clients Only) if the Multistore configuration was working but so far no success so I need to put on hold the purchase I opened a new post just for this config challenge I'm facing (https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/465199-help-configuring-multistore-with-2-domains/?p=2129611) I've read about "parking the domain" but I really do not know/understand how to do it with my Swiss host provider (switchplus). I opened a ticket with their support but so far no answer. Tomorrow will call them. In the meantime I would appreciate if you could take a look at the specific post I've created and give me your opinion. Thanks in advance.
  4. Hi, I'm seeking advice/suggestions on how to correctly configure PS and domains for a Multistore environment. I tried by myself but got into trouble yesterday and I spent almost a day bringing back to normal BO and FO. So here the target scenario: Have one SSL domain/multilanguage shop (www.beautykosm.ch) with product catalogue having prices for my end-user customer. This is currently up and running well. Based on PS 1.6.1.1 and Warehouse theme. MySql Version 5.6.19. Have another domain/multilanguage shop (www.alemaproshop.ch) with the same product catalogue of the one above but different prices (and promos) to be accessed by my retail customers. Both shops should use the same theme (Warehouse) and have the same categories/product attributes, features, vendors and sincronized quantities. Customers and Orders do not need to be shared among the two stores. After reading documentation and forums I thought that Multistore was the way to go. So this is what I've done but unfortunately it made both BO and FO of beautykosm non accessible anymore with loop redirection on the browser. Eventually I managed to go back to a stable situation but still I've my Multistore to set-up, 1) Opened the domain alemaproshop.ch on the same provider where beautykosm.ch is hosted. That means both domains have the same Name Servers: ns1.switchplus.ch 80.67.16.124 ns2.switchplus.ch 193.223.77.3 2) The domain configurations are as follow: Beautykosm.ch: Target path=/beautykosm.ch Hostnames *.beautykosm.ch. Type=A Target=auto www.beautykosm.ch. Type=A Target=37.200.97.48 (these IP are there after enabling SSL) beautykosm.ch. Type=A Target=37.200.97.48 alemaproshop.ch: Target path=/ Target url= Hostnames *.alemaproshop.ch. Type=A Target=auto www.alemaproshop.ch. Type=A Target=auto alemaproshop.ch. Type=A Target=auto 2) Enabled Multistore on beautykosm.ch 3) Default group created and renamed Alema Pro. Beautykosm.ch is showing as master store with www.beautykosm.ch as URL. 4) Within the same group I create a new store to which I gave the name AP Profi Shop. Category root was Home and I associated all the available categories in beautykosm to it. I also selected the same Warehouse theme I'm using on beautykosm for the new store and all the import possibilities were selected. The new store was correctly created after few minutes (I've almost 1000 products). 5) Setting up the URL for the new store. On the Domain name I inserted www.alemaproshop.ch, on Domain SSL nothing and on Physical URL I just typed /. No Virtual URL and my final URL for the new shop became http://www.alemaproshop.ch. The Main URL switch was set to YES. As a result the following .htaccess file (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12125376/.htaccess) was created and the following entries in the DB that can be seen in the attached jpg files. The problem as I wrote earlier is that after these steps nothing worked at all both in the BO and FO and when trying to access those I was getting ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS Infinite Loop Redirection on the browser. What am I doing wrong? What am I not doing? Maybe should I put the other store/domain in a separate group? If yes can the two store still share the same catalogue, categories, features and product quantities? Maybe doing something wrong on the host configuration? Maybe SSL on one domain and not on the other could create problems? Thanks for your support. Bye Marco
  5. Well yes I regained control but frankly I still have some doubts why all this happened and I'm still having strong doubts how to implement the Multistore configuration I need. First thing I did is to delete the .htaccess file from the beautykosm shop directory (that in my case is /) then I went to the management panel of my host provider and for the domain beautykosm.ch changed the Target_Path to: /beautykosm.ch. I tried then to access the BO. I got at the beginning a browser warning that the site was not secure (in the origin I had an SSL certificate but apparently it was not working anymore). Anyway I choose to continue in unsecure mode and then suddenly I was able to get to the PS login splash screen but icons were missing. I typed my credentials and got into BO although the browser anytime I was navigating through the BO was telling me that the page/site was not secure and many icons on the BO GUI were missing. Once inside I disabled Multishop and I Turn Off and The On the Friendly URL option as I know that this procedure recreate an .htcaccess file. I then turned off the SSL switch as experienced the security problem and I eve cleaned the cache just in case. Then I log out, cleaned cookies on my browser and even restarted my PC. After the PC restarted I opened the browser and tried to access BO with http address and the splash screen was now right with all the icons in place and even inside the BO everything was fine. Just for curiosity I checked the new .htaccess file and it was exactly the same as the one I posted in my previous post. So all entries regarding the other domain I woudl like to use in the Multistore configuration were kept. Clearly even if Multistore is disbaled it leaves the latest configuration data within the DB. But I was still annyed that SSL was not working so I renabled SSL on Preferences/Maintenance but when I tried it immediately teh browser gave me a security error. I gave up and went to bed as I was happy to see that even the FO was accessible although not with https. This morning I tried enabling SSL again and...magic!...it worked well. The only thing that I saw it changed since last night is on the domain side of my provider that now has the following entres for name server of beautykosm.ch: Hostname *.beautykosm.ch. Type=A Target=auto www.beautykosm.ch. Type=A Target=37.200.97.48 beautykosm.ch. Type=A Target=37.200.97.48 Frankly I wonder who put those IP addresses because it was not certainly me. Is maybe just a matter of DNS propagation? I do not know. But now everything works fine and SSL certificate is up and running with SSL enabled on all the pages. Still my question remain: what should I do to enable the Multistore configuration? I will create another post for this and close this one. Thanks for your interest anyway. Marco
  6. Hello, ok I'm totally stuck with no possibility to access any longer neither the BO nor the FO of my eshop (www.beautykosm.ch) that was working nicely (even with SSL) before I decided to play with the Multistore configuration. It is all based on the latest PS 1.6.1 version. When I try to access the site both for BO and FO now I get ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS Infinite Loop Redirection on the browser (and yes I already cleaned the cache/cookies at least 3 times now) Here what did and what I got: 1) I opened a new domain www.alemaproshop.ch that was intended to become the shop for my wholesalers while www.beautykosm.ch was intended for end-users. They are both hosted at the same provider with the following configuration: Name servers: ns1.switchplus.ch 80.67.16.124 ns2.switchplus.ch 193.223.77.3 Beautykosm.ch: Target path=/ Hostname *.beautykosm.ch. Type=A Target=auto www.beautykosm.ch. Type=A Target=auto beautykosm.ch. Type=A Target=auto alemaproshop.ch: Target path=/ Hostname *.alemaproshop.ch. Type=A Target=auto www.alemaproshop.ch. Type=A Target=auto alemaproshop.ch. Type=A Target=auto Because my need was to share the same products between my two kind of customers but with different prices and promotions I decided to go for the Multistore capability on the Beautykosm.ch main store. So in its BO I enabled the Multistore functionality. It correctly created the default group which I renamed in Alema Pro. In the group it was showing www.beautykosm.ch as the master store. Then I choose to create a new store to which I gave the name of AP Profi Shop, the category root was Home and I associated all the available categories in beautykosm to such new store. I also selected the same Warehouse theme I'm using on beautykosm for the new store and all the import possibilities were selected. The new store was correctly created after few minutes (I've almost 1000 products). After that I setup the URL for the new shop. On the Domain name I inserted www.alemaproshop.ch, on Domain SSL nothing and on Physical URL I just typed /. No Virtual URL and my final URL for the new shop became http://www.alemaproshop.ch. The Main URL slider was set to YES. The result is that now I have the following .htaccess file (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12125376/.htaccess) and the following entries in the DB that can be seen in the attached jpg files. Can somebody help me to restore at least the access to BO/FO and then maybe give me an opinion what I did wrong? Thanks Marco
  7. Well, yes I did...the only way for people like me that have a huge (and growing) multilanguage product catalogue to quickly insert the appropriate texts in the 2 fields available in the "Availability Settings" is to do a straight write in the correct DB table. In this case the table is the one named "ps_product_lang" (name could be different if modified during the PS setup) and the two fields to be written are "available_now" and "available_later" (the two are replicated for each product as many times as the languages utilized in the shops). Best Rgds.
  8. Hi, I might have figure it out why is no longer appearing the Available label even if product quantity is >0. But still I do not know how to fix it. Apparently something changed last time I upgraded some modules (I cannot remember which one was). In previous PS versions but also when I installed the latest release even if was not typing any text to be displayed when the product is on stock there was some "standard" text available in the FO. Now unless I type in the text there is none, even in the Translation module there is no more the possibility to change per each language the word "Avaialble". Why is that? I have a catalogue of more than 1500 ites and a shop in 4 languages. Typing the same words 4 timeas each items is a huge waste of time!!! Any suggestions from anyone? Thanks
  9. I do not know why for many products on my store the "Available" label doesn't shown even if quantities are >0. If I enable to show the quantity number this comes up or if the products has zero quantity I get the standard message "The product is out of stock" but no way to get the Available label to show up. I'm on PS 1.6.0.11, using Stock Management (not the Advanced Stock Management though). Tried to clear cache and Force compilation but nothing. Using Warehouse theme. I checked the product.tpl and it seems fine (attached here in zip format) Any help/suggestion? Thanks in advance, Marco product.zip
  10. Yep I've the same exact issue! That is why I also posted mine here: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/293686-wrong-handling-of-cart-rule-for-a-free-shipping-configuration/ Let's see if someone gets an answer here. Bye
  11. I've set a cart rule where if the total value of products in the cart is 100Chf (including tax) a free shipping should be applied to the cart. Nomally, before reaching such amount, it is correctly applied a shipping cost based on total products weight for a specific courier. Well, the rule doesn't seems to display correctly in the cart. As you can see in the attached screenshoots if I keep adding products the cart is correctly updated but the shipping cost are not updated accordingly when I reach a total product value above the 100Chf threshold. But after I manually refresh the browser the cart rule then it is applied. Although sometimes instead of the value 0.00Chf appears, randomly, the text "Free Shipping!". The same behavior happens if I go to the Checkout procedure and add products there. If you wanna try by yourself the web site is: www.zoyacolorfashion.ch (it's ina pre-production enevironment so do not worry to register yourself as a customer if you want to experiment) Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug? How can this been fixed? Thanks Marco
