Luz, Si no tienes Hosting todavía, ¿A donde lo quieres migrar? Para migrar necesitar tener dos sitios, uno donde esté ahora y otro allá donde quieras ir. Si quieres te lo instalas ahora en localhost y vas haciendo cambios y metiendo productos allí, para luego migrarlo al sitio donde lo quieras instalar... pero casi que mejor que hagas una instalación limpia en el nuevo hosting cuando lo tengas. Porque migrar no está chupado, al menos no tan chupado como hacer una instalación limpia.

Hola Luz, no te acabo de entender lo que quieres decir con lo de un subdominio. ¿No te dejan crear un subdominio en Godaddy? Tienes alojamiento pagado con ellos?

An error occured during installation... WHAT ERROR????? I'm trying to install Prestashop 1.5 but stopped at the point of creation of tables the database. Specifically in 13% of the installation. Sometimes installing a number of tables, sometimes another, then not for a specific table. Are there any requirements over PHP, apart from those who are checked at the beginning of the installation, which may not meet my hosting? For example PHP timeout, maximum number of files running, or something like that ... that is the cause of it stops at that point? Is there a log where I can see why it has stopped the installation beyond simple message 'An error occured during installation...'? thanks

Entiendo que no contestéis, porque estoy dando muy pocas pistas. A ver si con los nuevos datos que tengo me podéis ayudar. He conseguido instalar un prestashop desde el propio instalador de programas que tiene el servidor. Luego no es un problema de que falte algo en el servidor, entiendo. No obstante yo quisiera instalarla mediante archivos. ¿Hay algún lugar donde quede un registro del fallo de instalación? Gracias

Trasteando compruebo que una vez se instalaron 57 tablas, otra 101, otra 29, y otra 201, pero nunca llego a instalarlas todas (tampoco sé exactamente cuantas hay) No sé si seguir probando no sea que una de estas las instale todas

Intento instalar la última version de prestashop 1.5.3.1 en un servidor de Hostytec. Paso todos los filtros de compatibilidad del sistema obligatorios y todos los opcionales excepto 'Mcrypt extension' que no debe de estar disponible (cuento esto porque es lo único que se me ocurre para que falle la instalación). He hecho media docena de instalaciones antes en otro servidor de otro hosting de tiendas, no es la primera que hago. Pero cuando llego al 12% de instalación se cuelga en create database tables, y da el siguiente mensaje de error: Create settings.inc file CHECK Create database tables An error occured during installation...
