I am using the UPS module from Presto-Changeo (www.presto-changeo.com). I opened a case with them regarding this issue but the support team at Presto-Changeo told me that this is a Prestashop issue and not an issue with their UPS module. I have added a picture here to show the issue

When I generate multiple UPS labels and I want to track them by clicking on the link in the BO , I am redirected to the UPS website but UPS tracking on UPS.com gives me an error because the tracking numbers sent by the BO are separated by a comma . UPS.com does not understand comma separated tracking numbers. If sending multiple tracking numbers from the BO to UPS.com, the tracking numbers should not be comma separated. The same issue appears in the email that is automatically sent to the customers after their purchase. The UPS link in the email sent from Prestashop to the customer contains multiple tracking numbers but they are comma separated and looks like http://wwwapps.ups.com/etracking/tracking.cgi?TypeOfInquiryNumber=T&InquiryNumber1=1ZJTU3710300010815,1Z2FA502YW21125019,1Z677247YW03444372 ( http://wwwapps.ups.com/etracking/tracking.cgi?TypeOfInquiryNumber=T&InquiryNumber1=1ZJTU3710300010815,1Z2FA502YW21125019,1Z677247YW03444372 ) The correct link should look like this (for example for 3 tracking numbers) : https://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/processRequest?InquiryNumber1=1ZJTU3710300010815&InquiryNumber2=1Z2FA502YW21125019&InquiryNumber3=1Z677247YW03444372&track.x=0&track.y=0%22# (https://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/processRequest?InquiryNumber1=1ZJTU3710300010815&InquiryNumber2=1Z2FA502YW21125019&InquiryNumber3=1Z677247YW03444372&track.x=0&track.y=0%22#) Which Prestashop modification is necessary so that the correct link sent per email looks like the corrrect link http://wwwapps.ups.com/etracking/tracking.cgi?InquiryNumber1=1ZJTU3710300010815&InquiryNumber2=1Z2FA502YW21125019&InquiryNumber3=1Z677247YW03444372&track.x=0&track.y=0%22 and not the wrong link http://wwwapps.ups.com/etracking/tracking.cgi?TypeOfInquiryNumber=T&InquiryNumber1=1ZJTU3710300010815,1Z2FA502YW21125019,1Z677247YW03444372 The above examples are for 3 tracking numbers, but how to make it also work with any numbers of tracking numbers ? I am running Prestashop 1.6.1.4 Thanks - Luc

Fatal Error In Module Avalaratax
lweinlan replied to Copernican Theory's topic in Configuring and using PrestaShop
for the future be very careful in downloading the new AVALARA module once it is fixed. I have an excellent testsite creator module that is an exact clone of the live website. That's were I will be testing the new AVALARA module once they have fixed it. If stuff breaks on the test site, no big deal since it is not the "real" website. I would not install this AVALARA module on a live website before being sure that it is not going to break your back office. -
Fatal Error In Module Avalaratax
lweinlan replied to Copernican Theory's topic in Configuring and using PrestaShop
same error here. Avalara module is the worse module you will find in Prestashop I did get in touch with my Avalara representative a month ago, and it is on my request (through NuRelm) that they started working on a new module. The initial module V3.5.5 did not work correctly in Prestashop 1.6.1.1 (not taxes displayed in shopping cart) Nurelm was contacted by my Avalara representative but Nurelm never contacted me directly to let me know that they were working on a new module. Very bad support from Nurelm, and now they succeeded in breaking the back office. I am going to contact my Avalara rep (since Nurlem does not bother talking to me) and let him know that Nurelm broke the back office. I took some drastic measure: connected through FTP to my website hosting server and completely deleted the Avalaratax module. Back office is working again. -
problem "notify me when available" email function ?
lweinlan replied to lweinlan's topic in Configuring and using PrestaShop
Could someone please help me ? This seems to be an important and desirable function that need to be fixed. Maybe other users would also benefit from this being fixed ... thanks -
Hello, I am not sure if this is a software bug in 1.6.1.1 but when a product is no longer in stock and a customer enters his email address and clicks on "notify me when available", he/she gets a strange message indicating that This combination does not exist for this product. Please select another combination. This message does seem incorrect. I am not sure if I missed something somewhere when I upgraded from 1.4.8.2 to 1.6.1.1 or if this a software bug, but if someone could help me with that, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. P.S. I have attached a screenshot (website is yanksmannequins.com)

Thank you Vekia. Your solution does work. When doing the text changes in translation from "add to cart" to "click to backorder", it changes the text for all products. I am looking for something more "dynamic", meaning that when the stock falls below or is equal to zero for a specific product (not all of them), the text in the button for this specific product would dynamically change to "click to backorder" without manually changing the text in the back office translations. This "dynamic" way exists for the product-list and it works fine on my website. I am looking for the same solution for each individual product. In the post http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/122963-backorder-displayed/ user Shokinro proposed a code modification, but it did not work for me or for other people who tried it. The Shokinro code was: I would really appreciate if you could help us. Thank you so much.

hello, I would like to know if someone could help me change the text of the cart button in the product page when the product quantity is less or equal to zero? I would like to change the text of the cart button from "add to cart" to "click to backorder" when qty <= 0. Ordering is allowed when the product is out of stock. I am running prestashop 1.4.8. I want to make sure that my customers know that the product is out of stock by clicking on a modified version of the "add to cart" button ("add to cart" text changed to "click to backorder"). There is a way of doing it for the product list and it works, but I wonder if this is also possible in the product page. A prestashop forum user tried to find a solution, but it did not seem to work for me or others --> see http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/122963-backorder-displayed/ Attached are screen shot of what I am trying to achieve. Thank you for your help.

Hi Vekia, yes, my prestashop is an "old" version": 1.4.8.2 My theme is "pzone". The shop is at "yanksmannequins.com". I have enabled for you to see it, but it is not into production yet. I modified the /yanksmannequins.com/themes/pzone/css/modules/blockpermanentlinks/blockpermanentlinks.css and added "display: none;" (as seen below) but this "permalink" does not want to disappear. Please note that the "permalink" issue is the same with the default theme or the "pzone" theme. Can you please help and let me know where and what to modify so that this "permalink" does not appear anymore ??? Side note: I do not want to update to 1.5 because I am affraid it would break things with the "pzone" theme. Thank you so much original code blockpermanentlinks.css : /* block top links */ ul#header_links { margin: 0.4em 1em 1em 0; list-style-type: none; float: right; } #header_links li { float: left; color: #cbcbcb; padding: 0px 2px; } #header_links a { color: #146eb4; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; font-size: 11px; } #header_links a:hover{ text-decoration: underline; } #header_links li strong, #header_links li span{ color: #e47911; font-size: 12px; font-weight: bold; } modified code (permalink does not disappear) /* block top links */ ul#header_links { display: none; margin: 0.4em 1em 1em 0; list-style-type: none; float: right; } #header_links li { display: none; float: left; color: #cbcbcb; padding: 0px 2px; } #header_links a { display: none; color: #146eb4; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; font-size: 11px; } #header_links a:hover{ display: none; text-decoration: underline; } #header_links li strong, #header_links li span{ display: none; color: #e47911; font-size: 12px; font-weight: bold; }
