same problem, trying to override the address form in the backoffice.

Just for the future users, we had a problem since some users cannot end the order process due to secure_key been null, this happens because those users where updated using webservices and the secure key was overwritten by the PUT method. I've managed to create a secure_key using this mysql query: update ps_customer set secure_key=MD5(RAND()) where secure_key = '';

Actually I manage to inject te question just before the "payments" but I'm struck on "how to save a field value". I mean, I'm on the payment step, I put there a checkbox, now, I'd like to save the checkbox state (if it's checked or not), once the user go ahead with the checkout...

My idea is quite simple, I'd like to ask to the user if he need to have the invoice, I'd like to ask him BEFORE he enter the addresses because I have t check if the address has the required information for invoicing. I'm struck in searching for the right hook to use in the module, seems that the nearest is "actionValidateCustomerAddressForm" but I'd like to ask for it "BEFORE" and not during the address validation (if you know what I mean). can you help me pointing in the right direction... is maybe worth to look for a controller override instead? thanks in advance.

it's a shame that none has never answer to this in 5 years. unfortunately I don't know the answer, but I'm study to achieve the same behavior. if I'll find a solution, I'll let you know.

I'd like to change the search result page, my goal is to change the title (I'd like to attache the searched string to the title "search result" And I'd like to add some lines to the content of the page, (simply line of texts and some links, nothing special). Now, since I'd have to make it on several sites, I'd like to make a "standard" solution. The best approach is to make a module? I don't like a child theme, since I have to propagate it to several sites, and the effort of making so much child themes will be too much. the "module way" is the one I prefer, since I can install it on all the sites and then maybe adjust the visualization as I like. can you point me in the right direction? thanks in advance.

Non dovresti avere problemi con la 1.6.1.12, il modulo è stato testato sulla 1.6.9 ad ogni modo, per qualsiasi problema che tu possa incontrare (anche non direttamente legato al modulo) contattami (tramite il form sul sito) sicuramente troviamo una soluzione.

ah, scusate, il modulo continua a rimanere stabile, funziona su PS fino alla 1.6.9 (testato svariate volte), ma ancora non ho avuto nessun riscontro da 1.7 in su, anzi, quindi se qualcuno ha gia avuto modo di provarlo sulla 1.7 mi avverta se ci sono cose da rivedere o se tutto è ok. Al più presto cercherò di testarlo ufficialmente sulla 1.7

Ciao, Google ti avvisa che non hai impostato bene i tag HREFLANG se hai un sito multilingua e non linki fra di loro le pagine in lingua diversa (con un link hreflang, appunto). Non ha niente a che vedere con la gestione dei contenuti in lingua, quindi, non stiamo parlando di "selezionare una lingua e tradurre il contenuto" ma invece di "spiegare" a Google che la pagina che sta guardando esiste anche in una lingua diversa (così che G possa proporre quella giusta ad un utente). Ora, francamente (ma qua sono di parte lo capisco), ti consiglierei di usare il modulo Hreflang beh...che ho sviluppato io (trovi il link nella mia firma), il vantaggio principale è sicuramente il prezzo (10 simbolici Euri). Ma se vuoi comprarlo su addons, benvenga, troverai soluzioni molto valevoli a più di 30€. Fondamentalmente ti consiglio di usare il modulo perchè da quanto ho capito non sei uno sviluppatore per PS, e essendo Prestashop un po'... ostico, ti accorgerai che spesso le cose sono definite in modo leggermente diverso a seconda della strada che fai: (ad esempio per far creare un link al contenuto di PS, devi sapere prima di che tipologia di pagina si tratta, o cose di questo genere), questo si traduce in una learning curve per creare un modulo funzionante un po' ripida e spesso la cosa più semplice è demandare a qualcun'altro che ha gia risolto il problema mille volte, la risoluzione del problema ad ogni modo, se hai dubbi o vuoi una mano nello sviluppo, non esitare a chiedere (trovi i contatti sul mio sito).
