Hi, v 1.9 my dev vm image was having issues so I created a new vm and copied over my site and restored my db to it. But of course it can't go smoothly.... now the Admin site seems to work fine, but the front end is having issues, the main page loads, but everything else you click on fails with: Object not found! The requested URL was not found on this server. The link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. Please inform the author of that page about the error. If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster. I cleared the cache, rebooted, restored from v 1.8 - re-upgraded to 1.9. I noticed the images for the products are "broken" on the main page, but they are in the tables... if this helps. All the data in the DB seems to be fine, products categories etc.. I also renamed the .htaccess file ** Edit ** I went into preferences - CMS and did a save and preview on one of my entries, and it failed with the above message. I tried to create a new CMS entry did a save and preview, and it also failed... ********* ** Edit 1 *** Ok, figured it out, I disabled "friendly URL" and the site came up.... I enabled rewrite module., how can I get friendly URL to work again? ************** Any insight appreciated. Johnny

I think I figured out the issue. It hat to do with the .htaccess file. I added 2 Option directives directly to the apache httpd.conf file and it seems the system is stablized. I haven't retried to do the upgrade with this config, will try on the weekend.

Hello, not having too much luck lately with Ps... was running fine and i went to add some meta data/keywords to the SEO & URL's -- index and after trying to save the changes, the site crapped out with. The 192.0.0.0 page isn’t working192.0.0.0 is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500 Looking at my apache logs: HP Fatal error: Class 'Core_Foundation_IoC_Container' not found in nbs/Core/Business/Core_Business_ContainerBuilder.php on line 36 I copied the Core folder over again, still no luck, then I tried to restore my DB and still dead. Hello, to chime in, I also am experiencing this with .16 will not install and just sits on the "store installation" page, the top portion is blank and displays no progress. activated debug mode, but no output to this point. I checked my error logs and the only item is: [sun Jul 10 10:05:58.916136 2016] [rewrite:error] [pid 3207] [client 192.168.0.0:54721] AH00670: Options FollowSymLinks and SymLinksIfOwnerMatch are both off, so the RewriteRule directive is also forbidden due to its similar ability to circumvent directory restrictions : /srv/www/htdocs/prestashop/js/jquery/plugins/jquery.chosen.js, referer: http://192.168.0.0/prestashop/install/index.php I have my .15 store running on this server with no problems, wondering if this issue is the cause to my inability to use the 1-click upgrade module.

thanks for the info!, i just took a look at the PS demo site, actually i want the display like it has with the rotating banner, and the 2 static items next to it, just have to remember what I modules I disabled to remove those 2 static items next the rotating banner

Hi, just attempted to upgrade my shop to .16 and its now failed twice. it seems to get to the copying of the files end and then just displays an error about my site and the restore option is the only item available Access forbidden! You don't have permission to access the requested object. It is either read-protected or not readable by the server. if I overwrite the site with the previous version, it still fails with the above error, I have to wipe the site out completely, and restore it manually, then it works again. Is it writing something that's causing this, I removed the autoupgrade folder, and still will fail with the above error -- have to restore from scratch. i'm sure if i try again, it will fail. anybody know what's gong on?
