Wow!! Did you even read the message? I am not asking about saving, its about converting 36,000 products in excel single cell to the jumbled up semi colon joined format used by Presta Shop. It will take months to go through them and join them up to the excel format they use.

Thanks for all your replies, i realized i did not attach a file but the troubles i have experienced has made me to look elsewhere for a cart that can import products placed within separate excel cells rather than been jumbled together in this stupid useless semi colon and endless quotation marks. I have an excel file with over 36,000 products and these will have to be converted to the Presta style, the only way to do this will be to configure each cell with a semi colon, how long will that take? Every file i try to load into the store by Admin using the suggested headings and format is rejected... Finally got some done with eMagic One Store Manager on a free trial... Presta is great but the file format sucks.. Anyone has a bullet proof way of converting and loading files in Presta format?

Is there anyone here who can tell me what is wrong with this file i am testing to import my products? The fields won't separate and no matter what i try still cannot load anything using excel file. Zip attached.

For anyone hoping to Host with A2 Hosting there is something you should know before you sign up for their hosting. They have something called INode which limits the amount of data you are allowed to load into the DB and when the low quota is breached they ask you to spend up to $50 a month to move to a higher hosting platform. I loaded 36,000 products after been there for two days and all of a sudden my storage space turned red and then some "[spam-filter]" told me to go and clean out my files... Which file should i delete? I paid for the turbo version with unlimited space but it took two days to reach my limit and i still have 80,000 more products to load....Long ago i made it a practice never to pay for a year hosting or anything else from any provider, i go month by month so when i meet this kind of problem i just leave. How can 36,000 products use up all my storage space with "Unlimited Hosting?" Just a thought for anyone thinking o0f going there.. Looking for a better host if anyone knows some good ones.

I have watched videos and searched the forum but i still cannot find a solution as to why my cross selling module will not appear, if anyone has an answer how to fix this please let me know,

That mystery was solved i found that if you change the default products number to show, 8, and the default category from 2, the tab will not display anything!! Site: www.arometique.com

Yes i have created a dummy sales and i have set the time for new products, i have enabled the module to display, but the olny tab that is working is the New Arrivals tab. I edit some products to the "Home Category" as Presta instructed but stil it has the same message saying no producs available at this time.. Anyone who has a solution please let me know.

Thanks for your info, but i have tried everything including yours but nothing seems to work, i am new here and its very sad that Presta Techs cannot offer help without a hefty fee so we all have to relly on members. What i see is the New Arrival tab is working, i have configured the Featiured Product Block to display 16 products, set the default category of products to be shown to Home aas they instruct, but it still says "there are no featured products at this time", i don't even mind someone loging in there a taking a look, anything is better than this stress.

I cannot get any products to show under the Popular tab which seems to have a link to the Featured Product Module in the back office, it shows the same position as the other three in the Home Block but only the New Arrival tab has products linked to it, does anyone know how to get products under the Popular tab?

Thanks Iryna, i stil have not recieved any details for the connection so will have to see what the resulst are. One thing i need to know, if i keep the file categories from the supplier will these just disply in the store or do i need to move them all into the one i already have?

I did manage to change the connection as shown but see the screen shot as i have something called sand box for DB

It connects through the FTP client and has now pulled stuff from my store so that they appear in the Manager, the products which i loaded into it from the supplier are visible in the Manager with the original categories but are not showing in my store. Also the file came with images and the section in the Manger seems to be uploading these. Since it is now connected to the store i find it odd that the products are not showing there. Also, do you know the file categories from the supplier will map these into my store?

Does anyone know how the PrestaStore Manager works? I dowloaded the trial version and imported some products into it but how do i get them into my website from there? Newbie...
