  1. I understand what you are saying, but have no idea how I would put that into play. It would likely take me less time to delete all products and start again with a system to prevent duplicate numbers. Thanks a lot for the help though, I think I know how I need to do this now (I hope), after all I thought I knew last time.
  2. Hi, sorry I cannot completely understand what you're saying. I can use a custom script to import without an ID, by using the product reference only? Thanks,
  3. That's not how it works mate, you need to first upload the images to your server via ftp. Then use the complete URL for import. Also best to limit your CSV files to 100 lines when importing images.
  4. Hey guys, I thought I had this all figured out, imported 20,000 items. Due to having multiple suppliers I used auto-incremented ID's. Now I am needing to update product pricing, but my supplier CSV files don't have my ID's and without them it appears I cannot update these fields, please correct me if I am wrong. I tried using use product key as reference without any id, and with made up id's. Both got error's that it couldn't save. Is there something I am missing? Please help.
  5. Nevermind, I have figured it out. The back-end of my site wasn't redirecting so I logged in as normal. Changed the SEO & URL to the new URL and everything works fine now. Hope this helps someone in the future.
  6. Hey guys, I have recently ran into a storage issue with my current host, have just started the process of moving over to another host. I have moved all the files over and extracted them, restored my databases, setup the usernames and passwords correctly. Now when I go to my new address (haven't re-pointed the domain yet) it redirects the site to the actual site. My question is, how do I change it temporarily to my new URL to test the migration worked fine before re-pointing my domain? I hope I explained this well, any questions please ask.
  7. Hello, I have read over multiple similar topics that have been marked as SOLVED, however, I am having problems with the directions in answers given. Please see attached thread for reference. https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/65055-solvedhow-to-insert-google-site-verification-code/ Answer: You should put the code in header.tpl in your theme's directory. My issue is knowing where to put it in this file- google+ says: "Copy the meta tag below, and paste it into your site's home page. It should go in the <head> section, before the first <body> section." /public_html/pdf/header.tpl Is this the correct file location? The file is actually really small and I can not see <head> or <body> If anyone could please help, it would be much appreciated. -Kitty
  8. Hey if anyone could please help, I have looked on the forum for the past few days, due to not knowing what it is or if it is even possible- I haven't been able to find the information I need, I would like to be able to make alterations to center column on shopping cart page without it making the same changes to the center column on every page. eg. #index www.godda.com.au On shopping cart I would like center column background color to be #fbfbfb -where as on index page I would like it to remain transparent. If I don't make sense, please let me know of any other information you need, Thank you in advance, -Kitty
