  1. Does anybody know how I can get a refund for a non-functional addon bought from addons.prestashop.com ? I'm here to tell all of you the horrible experience I had with addons.prestashop.com I bought a module called Pretty Urls - advertised as working on 1.7.0.5 . Of course, the module did not work on 1.7.0.5, only works in 1.6.x.x ... and after many many messages back and forward, the developer told me that the attributes can not hidden from the URL in 1.7.x.x . Then I said to myself, OK, so I need a refund if the product is not working . As you go to addons.prestashop.com, you can Live Chat with someone there ... but as soon as I said I have a problem and that I need a refund .. BAM .. the chat pop-up closed and I see that I don't have access to it anymore . Is that how stuff works around here ?!? very ugly .. very ugly indeed ... I don't remember the last time I had such a bad experience ... and I had so many expectations from the official prestashop addons marketplace .. my bad, I guess .. . What am I left with ? a. A bunch of screenshots of the entire chat b. a bunch of screenshots with the non-functional addon c. less money in my pocket d. wasted time e. lost a client ... I guess it's all good material for a long and documented blog post ... sucks .. BEWARE ... the addons marketplace seems full of scammers and the official support seems to have their back . NOT COOL !
  2. Well I see that [Pretty URLs Module] does this well even with 1.7.05 .. The question that remains is .. how can I make CAPS remain in the SEO url ? for example : www.sitename / NAME-OF-PRODUCT-_-88888.html any ideas would be great ! thanks !
  3. Hi all, Prestashop v : 1.7.0.5 I would like to make the SEO URL's in this form : www.sitename.com / Product-Name-Here-_-c9999.html 1. Is there a way to remove the language /en/ and the /category/ from the URL ? 2. Is there a way to remove any other unnecessary data like the product attributes from the link ? Any solution would be great !
  4. thanks for the reply .. it seems that ignoring the product id column on import and using the product's reference option did the trick .. the error still pop's up -with no error message- .. but the import was successful .
  5. I'm having the same problem in Prestashop 1.6.1.9 ... same issues ... tried everything still .. no imports and having the same error with no displayed errors ... Andreea S. did you find a fix for this ? PS : I'm having the same problem on localhost and on the development server .
  6. FIXED ! The new combinations file MUST have ALL REFFERENCE NUMBERS as UNIQUE NUMBERS ! ... maybe it can help other people.
  7. Hi all . I'm using a 1.6.1.9 Prestashop . I have the following problem : a. In the past I have imported the products csv and the combinations csv with no problem . b. Now, I have a new combinations csv that I need to import to change the quantity of each combination . c. The only thing that changed is the Prestashop version .. nothing else changed in the csv, since the last import. Problem : Only the last combination line from the csv, for each product ID, get's imported . It does not matter if I use the product ID or refference number of the product .. the outcome is the same .. only the last combination get's imported .. 6 hours into this and I can not find the problem or a fix ... Why is the problem and how can I fix it ? HELP ?!
  8. dap, subscriu . revenirea la /translations/ro/admin.php autentic rezolva problema - admin login ... si 1.6.1.9 merge! Danke Zaurus !
  9. too bad no one answered ... but the problem was from the hosting account .. support from hosting helped me with the RecursiveDirectoryIterator problem .
  10. Hello everybody . I manage a Prestashop 1.6.1.7 .... since a couple of weeks ago, the website is veeeeeery very very slow . It takes 10-12 seconds for the browser to receive a 25kb html file ... once that loads, everything else loads super fast, as it should . I did try about everything that I know ... the hosting is really good (a lot of resources / extreme ssd / etc) ... everything is up to date ... and it worked really good until a few weeks back . When I empty the Cache .. for a couple of minutes it seems to work a little better. BUT ... randomly .. from time to time .. I get errors in my error_log that smarty cache was unable to write to file .. totally random . There are a few errors, that also appear to be totally random and I never saw them before : [20-Oct-2016] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'UnexpectedValueException' with message 'RecursiveDirectoryIterator::__construct(/home/mainwebsite/cache/smarty/cache/af/d2): failed to open dir: No such file or directory' in /home/mainwebsite/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_cacheresource_file.php:196 Stack trace: #0 [internal function]: RecursiveDirectoryIterator->__construct('/home/mainwebsite/...', 0) #1 /home/mainwebsite/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_cacheresource_file.php(196): RecursiveDirectoryIterator->getChildren() #2 /home/mainwebsite/tools/smarty/Smarty.class.php(845): Smarty_Internal_CacheResource_File->clear(Object(SmartyCustom), '/home/mainwebsite/...', NULL, NULL, NULL) #3 /home/mainwebsite/classes/SmartyCustom.php(156): Smarty->clearCache('/home/mainwebsite/...', NULL, NULL) #4 /home/mainwebsite/classes/SmartyCustom.php(120): SmartyCustomCore->check_template_invalidation('/home/mainwebsite/...', NULL, NULL) #5 / in /home/mainwebsite/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_cacheresource_file.php on line 196 I also did a DEBUG PROFILE .... but I didn't really find info that could help me fix the situation . How can i further debug the issue and find out what the heck is making the website load so slow ?? What could be the problem ? Thanks !
  11. Thanks for the suggestion .. but I already did that ... downloaded a new Geo database ... disabled / enabled geo IP location . It seems this is somehow related to my IP address ... I used a phone with another IP and I seem to get the prices in my currency and all works fine .. I'm totally disoriented at this point ...
  12. Another clue that the Geolocation is not working as it should is this : after I add products to cart, I have no payment options . Payment options are available only for my country so this tells me it's clearly a Geolocation issue and the website thinks I'm in some other country .
  13. I can not disable the EURO currency since the products are imported in EURO and is needed for currency conversion . Also, the main currency can NOT be disabled and I can not change the main currency since the products are in that currency . Further inspection on that matter shows that Geolocation DOES NOT work .. and I have no errors . I know it does not work since I now also get a message on the Front Page that says I can not order products from my country : Europe .... and since when is Europe a country ? ...
  14. I can NOT set only one currency . the owner of the website imports products in EURO and needs to convert them to local currency . The only thing I don't understand is why is this suddenly a problem ... it worked without problems for over a year ... I must say I did update to the latest prestashop version 1.6.1.7 ...
