I just checked and it is using fcgi. Should it be set to just 'cgi'?

I am a web developer and have been looking for a good alternative to Shopify and Woocommerce for my clients. I like PrestaShop from what I see, however I had my IT guy try to install it and it won't install. We get to 25% and it hangs. We have looked though all the forums and blogs and we see tons of people having the same issue. We have tried all of the posted solutions with no luck. I need to know if you are going to fix this issue anytime soon as there is no reason that it should not be able to install on a Linux server using the latest version of Centos and Apache under mySQL. I look forward to your speedy response and solution to this issue.

Hi, my client has a store catalogue running in the room of their site but I'm switching them to prestashop. I want to install it in a directory called 'beta-store' for testing purposes. However When we are ready to launch how do I make it so that the prestshyp store comes up in their root directory?
