Before I post this, I had been searching for answers on the forum. This is the most sensible fix I can find: https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/345778-solved-prestashop-16-auto-logging-me-off/?p=1742357 The steps recommended were to go to Administration > Preferences in the Dashboard extend the Lifetime of front office and back office cookies, and to deactivate checking the cookie's IP address. This method worked for the user who complained of this matter in the link. However for me, after disabling checking cookie's IP address and changing the Lifetime cookies, I get sent back out to the login screen. Upon logging in again, I end up back in the same Administration > Preferences page with the original settings that has checking cookie's IP address still turned on, and the Lifetime cookies the same as before. Also, I have made sure to have cleared my cache and tried different browsers. I also went to the extent of rebooting my computer. This doesn't happen when I run PrestaShop on my localhost. However, I don't think this issue I am having now has anything to do with my web host... or does it? I did notice also that the dashboard shows the refresh icon of each data field to be loading indefinitely and never showing any data, or stop searching for data to show. Not that I need this, because I have disabled the demo data, but I don't remember seeing the refresh icons spinning forever when I tried PrestaShop on my localhost. Appreciate if someone can help me out of this. Thanks.
