simpson7647 Posted March 24, 2011 Share Posted March 24, 2011 hi all, i currently have most of my website set up in version 1.3.1.1 and im looking to upgrade to 1.4Currently on my website, i'd like to keep and transfer the homepage (minus the carouel as i doubt that will work)As well as the homepage, im looking to keep all the product pages along with the prices and unit numbers.I would also like to keep my theme. I contacted them about the theme some time ago and they just said the main body of the theme is the same as the origional created my prestashop, so is this likely to work on version 1.4?Also recieved a free SSL with hostgator, what problems could occur from upgrading?Now how would i go about upgrading to 1.4 and moving all this along?Also incase anything goes wrong, what is the best way to backup everything.Ive backed it all up in the back office and copied the db backup folder created to an external hard drive, is this enough?Many thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
