chrissyUT
Please help - I did some searching and tried to find the answer for this problem ever since 1.4 version came out. okay I have fedex shipping module installed everything checks okay but it gives me this code:Prestashop could not connect to FEDEX webservices :Error 803 : Meter number is missing or invalidI called Fedex webservices and they said it shows on there end that I am active and everything is correct. I have entered all info correctly but I cannot seem to connect and get this to work the person at webservices said that maybe it is not pointing to production and only test server? Can someone please help me to fix this issue? Thanks a bunch! :-)

chrissyUT
honestly after going round and round and searched for an answer almost 2 weeks - I got no response so I ended up buying a moduleand was up and running in an hour. that was tyhe only thing that was holding me up. I wish I could give you a free solution but I paid $75 dollars for that and I must say it works really well I made my money back on what I spent.I try to go the freeest and cheapest route but was getting no where :-)If you are intrested take a look this is who I got it fromhttp://www.presto-changeo.com/en/10-shipping-modules
A-Z Hosting
Patience. According to several results I read out on the net Fedex will throw this "Error 803 : Meter number is missing or invalid" during its propagation times. It takes a couple of days for your testing key/meter to become active then another couple days for your production key/meter to become active once you go from testing to production.IF you have waited the couple of required days then there may be a problem with the gateway you are using..... Here's the fix. Problem is in the gateway address. Open modules/fedexcarrier/RateService_v9.wsdl and go all the way to the bottom and adjust the location found in the RateServicePort section. Use gateway.fedex.com for production api keys and gatewaybeta.fedex.com for testing api keys. Change only the domain name and leave the rest in there. It should look like this: Make change, upload and resave the module configuration. Problem should be gone and all Fedex shipping rates on the frontend are displaying properly. If you still have issues try clearing the fedex cache tables in your database. These are fedex_cache and fedex_cache_test. Then head back over to your admin and go to the configuration of your module. You should notice no more errors and a message of "FEDEX Carrier is configured and online!"Wil

Chaney
I made the changes as you stated, but when I cleared the two caches the module disappears.
reeecheee
this info is no good because the link that you are linking to isnt even a valid page on fedex website anymore. Anyone else know how to make this work? Prestashop is really cool because it has all these built in modules. Kinda pointless when they dont work
Chaney
I actually have it working - didn't change the code, went to the FEDEX site and received the test meter, etc. Waited two days after receiving the test meter then it worked!
