Upgrading Issue

Recommended Posts

Hey.

We have an online Shopping Website and we are using prestashop Version 1.3.3.0

Now we are planning to install Version 1.3.3.7

Now we have are site in Live Mode... and if we upgrade our site will the transactions, Users, Emails , stock, catalouges will be deleted...

as i cant afford to get those details to be deleted.... if so i m happy with this version itself...

Please suggest the steps for how to upgrade and backup files and again restore the files so tht all my database of members, thier purchases, Stock, My catalog, and other things remain as it is..

IN 6 MINUTES YOU CAN EASILY UPDATE PRESTASHOP
THAT IS THE RIGHT AND QUICK WAY :

I know a very easy way to update without problems Prestashop in 6 minutes....

1. Save your BDD
2 Go to the directory of your your files
3 Make a copy of file IMG
file MODULES
file MAILS
file SETTINGS.INC.PHP and put them separately somewhere
4 Select all your files and Compress them
5 Delete all files in the directory except the compress one
6 Install the New PRESTASHOP
7 Unzip all the files
8 Delete these files of the new version IMG
MODULES
MAILS
9 The old IMG
MODULES
MAILS transfer them in the NEW PRESTASHOP
10 The old file SETTINGS.INC.PHP transfer it in the directory CONFIG
11 Go to your browser and type the nameofyourwebsite.com/install and HERE is the NEW VERSION....
