Delete Copyright prestashop 1.7

Hello,

I have changed the prestashop copyright on the footer to my company name.

But when i click on it, it takes me to a prestashop ad website.

So i guess that i have to remove the whole copyright text?

Can anyone please tell me how i can remove it?

To modify PrestaShop copyright on the footer refer this tutorial : How to Change Footer Copyright Notice in PrestaShop 1.7?
To remove or replace link of prestashop you need to change below line:

But what happens when they drop the new version of prestashop?

Will all this updating through the .tpl files restore?

If they would deploy these .tpl files again, then yes it might override your changes and you have to do it again. A solution is using a child theme which makes you independend fromm updates but might require manual interaction in case there is a bug fix deployed with the upgrade.
