Kelvin Koh
I have updated my Prestashop to the most recent 1.4RC6 and got pretty excited about the new Live Edit feature which allows drag and drop page layout ability like Wordpress. However when I started using it, I received this error in a dialogue box: TECHNICAL ERROR: unable to unregister hook Details: Error thrown: [object XMLHttpRequest] Text status: parsererror Although I'm redirected to my store's FO, able to execute drag and drop & deletion of modules, I'm unable to save the changes. Attached below is the image.I noticed that the admin's cookie key is required (from the file /admin/tabs/AdminModulesPositions.php) in the codes section for the Live Edit feature. I have set my Preferences option Check IP on the cookie to No.Is there something I missed out that caused this problem? Need changing of permission or codes in a certain file? Or is it due to the peferences setting for the cookie?

Kelvin Koh
Angora: Thanks, I have submitted a bug report and a dev have started to look into it.Daniel: Glad to hear it's working fine for you. Perhaps it's some of my settings which cause the problem. I'm waiting for the dev's feedback.

Vincent Augagneur
In your Back-office on tab modules>>positions
nuclearholocausto
Thanks Vincent! I thought it was something else different. This is basically the same as a wordpress' or joomla's backend modules are dragable to any area you would like it to reside. Is this correct? Vincent Augagneur
On the right side of the page there is a live edit button that allows to move the module directly on the front office. You see it ?
ScubaLessonsInc
I am concerned.. this feature worked GREAT at first, then when my site was all done and all the products loaded, I decided to turn on the newsletter and turn off the block payment logo as I did that another way.. so, I go to positions and click on live edit to quickly do this.. and it gives me the error Technical Error, can not load modules, then trying to do it anyway and save it won't let me and just shows the same error message. I am not sure how to fix.. becoming a programmer using this program lately.. so many code fixes.. I am a designer not a coder.. Also the newsletter module in positions does not appear.. the block payment logo in positions could not be deleted until I deleted the module, same thing with layers module. This is just not good.. it is about the 7th real major hiccup with this new version. Not sure I will use it for the other sites until it is REALLY stable. Any help would be appreciated. ScubaLessonsInc
Just go to preferences > performance and turn off the cachesthen make sure your categories don't have any _'s then try.. should do it.
