Custom Gift Guide page?

Here's what I'm thinking, you have  a custom page that works as a gift guide.

The user would have 4 dropdowns, one for sex, one for budget, one for type and one for age.

After making their selection, they would be taken to a page with gifts that match their chosen criteria.

These would filter from a list of products i'd've assigned to a "gift" category (or maybe an attribute?) in the back end. 

They could also see these filters preselected on the left of the page.

Is this doable?
