Dear El,

thank you very much for the information. I will try to figure out what is going on. I'm using:

------------

PS 1.6.1.1

PHP 7.4.33

Database: 5.5.5-10.11.4-MariaDB-1:10.11.4+maria~deb11-log

-------------

I have the impression that it doesn't matter what settings I make in the backend cache. I have disabled all cache options and deleted the cache directory, but the high server load keeps coming back.

The cache/smarty/ directory keeps getting created and filled with content, even though I disabled the smart cache in the backend, deleted the cache in the backend, deleted the entire cache/ directory via SSH, and restarted the server.

I would have switched to a newer Prestashop version long ago, but my PS installation differs greatly from a standard installation and the template has also been modified extensively, so the effort involved would be very high.

I searched the modules for the specified grep command; the result is attached in the txt file.
