New items module not working and gone

Hello there,

I'm using Prestashop 1.7. So I was editing my webpage homepage and when tried to remove the banner, the "new items" block gone missing. In the modules list it showed that it was working, but it definitely wasn't. It was just gone. I tried every option I found in the forum or anywhere else it still didn't work. Few days have passed and now I see the the "new products' items" module is gone. It was installed but now it's gone. I could not find it neither in module list and catalog, neither anywhere on internet. I am very confused and I don't understand why the module didn't work for my and how did it manage to go missing. Can anyone please help to download the module back or tell me where can I even find it.

I am super confused and lost hope to have the new items block on my website.

Kindly confirm if you are talking about the featured products? I can't see any see new product module in PS1.7.
