Sourcecode seems to be compressed!?! How to turn that off?

Hi there,

 

I am trying to SEO optimize a working version of Prestashop. It's the first time I see this kind of shop. 

Looking at the sourcecode, it seems to be totally compressed, basically it's one big Blob(by) of code

without any spaces or linefeeds.

 

Does anyone know how to turn that off? I don't see that kind of code in the demo.installation of prestashop,

the code there seems to be ok.

It can be done using the various method (Basically its done to reduce the page size to improve the page speed). You need to check which method is being used for the same.

1. Can be done from the server using apache speed module like Google speed.

2. Can be done from the page speed module. CHeck if you are using any page speed related module.
